5Tacticool..need I say more  Oct 29, 2011 By MaxPower
First go to Mechanix website and print off the size chart and buy the right size. I have been buying too big of gloves for too long because I thought I had manly large hands...well I only have medium manly hands. I didn't believe the chart so went to a home store tried on the Mechanix gloves in medium and they fit 100 x better than the large.

I bought the Camo, all black (stealth) and the coyote of these Mechanix gloves so I can be tacticool!

I use them at the shooting range, I use them on cold days as driving gloves. None of the home stores around had the 3 tacticool colors, plus they are cheaper on amazon.com.

Now only if they made a pair in multi-cam so when the zombies come at me, they think to themselves...man that guy is all geared out and really cool looking. Then I place one between their eyes due to my awesome weapon control because I am wearing these cool gloves. Plus these gloves will keep your hands clean so when you rescue that hotty from being eaten you can take your gloves off and shake her hand and not worry about giving her cooties.

5Great Shooting or Multi-Use Gloves  Jan 26, 2012 By kylemag
These are just an all-round great pair of gloves. They provide an excellent grip and an ideal balance between protection and dexterity. Being able to have that full range of motion and feel was especially important for my entended use: shooting/tactical gloves.

I get sweaty hands when engaging in any activity that gets my heart pumping, shooting a gun is one of those activities. It is not comfortable having a deadly weapon slipping in your hand as you shoot it. These were an excellent solution. They do not limit your range of motion and the grip is just right, not too sticky and not too slick. I was able to grip the firearm great and helped my aim, control, and comfort level. That being said, these gloves provide and excellent grip and would work for activities such as driving, riding a bike, or different forms of physical labor. I personally have used them for carpentry and they are second to none. Most work gloves are thick and made of leather. Grabbing nails with them are an absolute pain in the neck. These gloves provide the protection and ability to work with precision.

They will also be fit for multiple seasons, although there are better choices for winter gloves. However, I would not hesitate to use these in the winter if need be. These gloves will also be a nice addition to a camping kit as they seem to hold up pretty well for the price. They are decent for processing wood and other minor camp tasks; although, for more heavy duty tasks that do not require precision, I would recommend those thick leather gloves. I do not think it is wise to spend $30 on a pair of gloves as they will eventually end up like all gloves, ripped and riddled with holes. It is inevitable. These things will last a while and are worth the price.

Amazon is also great because they sell at better prices than even Walmart or Target. At Target, I have seen them for over $20. With prime and no taxes, I only paid $17 for them. If you need super heavy dudey gloves, i would definitely recommend another pair of gloves. But, for there intended use and keeping adequat dexterity, these are the best i have found Great product from a reliable company. I highly recommend these Mechanix Wear gloves.

5great gloves - quick shipping with Prime  Dec 16, 2011 By Terry D
I use these for everything - hunting, garage, flying..... They are well made and provide good sensitivity for performing delicate tasks.

5nice  Dec 10, 2011 By parkerrr
great gloves . excellent fit . no extra glove on my finger tip . i ordered a medium and i think 1911 grips are to small so anyone with average to slightly above average finger length should go with that size shipped quickly as always . the glove is known for quality so no worries there.oh but shipping is lame like 5.00 -6.00 bucks

4Great for what it is.  Sep 29, 2011 By Frank M
I bought these gloves because I was looking for something protective and light to wear while shooting that wouldn't hinder my dexterity. These gloves fit the bill perfectly. I like them so much I decided to order another pair. The only drawback is that they don't grip very well (I found that when working with hand tools, I could get a better/more tight grip with the gloves on). However, this wasn't a problem while I was shooting...like the title says: "great for what it is."
